WE ARE CELEBRATING OUR 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY THIS YEAR!
The Missoula local chapter "M" of the Gold Wing Road Rider Association meets on the first Tuesday of each month at Perkins Family Restaurant 2275 N. Reserve St. at 6:00 pm.
Membership to the GWRRA is not necessary; no dues or membership for the local chapter are required. All riders, makes and models of bikes are welcome. The charter area for Chapter "M" includes Missoula, Ravalli, Lake, Flathead, Lincoln, Mineral and Sanders County.

CHAPTER "MT-M" EVENTS FOR 2013
Some of our ways of helping our community are as follows:
* We will be collecting non-perishable food items for the local Food Bank. Please bring a non-perishable food items to the chapter meetings for distribution to the local Food Bank. Your contribution really will make a difference to the community we live in. Let's help out!
* We will be doing a 50/50 drawing at all monthly meetings so bring your cash and see if you are the lucky winner at dinner!

MONTANA DISTRICT LEADERSHIP TRAINING WORKSHOP IN MISSOULA ON APRIL 6, 2013
Save the date, April 6, 2013, for the first annual Leadership Training Workshop hosted by the Montana district of Region I. We have put together a number of courses within the Leadership series that will be of interest to all. The instructors are looking forward to meeting with you and sharing with you this information. The training venue selected is Ruby's Inn and Convention Center located at 4825 N Reserve St in Missoula. For those of you planning on attending from out of town, rates are $69.00 single (+ tax) and $79.00 double (+ tax) with a full breakfast included with your stay. Rooms have been blocked until Monday, April 1, 2013, under GWRRA. Make your reservation by contacting (406) 721-0990 to speak with the front desk for your reservation.
Classes will be at the convention center site starting at 0800, ending at 1700 hrs. LUNCH: we have made arrangements to have lunch served on site for only $10.00 each. Please contact Greg at ghintz@bresnan.net or (406) 240-2032 by April 1, 2013 to let me know how many to plan for.

If anyone is interested in participating in parking lot drills, Greg will be setting up a class in town so that we can all feel more secure on making this another safe year of riding. These will take place on a Saturday morning (to be determined with weather permitting) so please stay tuned for more of that to be coming up!
*** We will be holding a shop day courtesy of Five Valley Honda with Chad assisting us in our shop day. We are going to be doing that on April 18th. Please do your t-clock check before arriving at the shop to do some maintanence on your bike so that when we are working with Chad (or the other mechanics) we will be ready to go without stopping to put air in the tires. ***
There will be an ARC (Advanced Rider's Course) held at the Lone Rock School on May 4 or 5, 2013, in the Bitterroot Valley for those wishing to take that course. If you are interested, you are welcome to join us for breakfast at 7 am at The Montana Club on Brooks in Missoula then we will leave from there and the class will be held from 9 am sharp to completion with approximately 8 hours of instruction. This is a one day course so if you are signed up for Saturday or Sunday know that it is a one day course only. There is limited room so please contact Greg @ 240-2032 if you are interested in attending this class. You must be dressed for safety with full riding gear - over the ankle boots, helmet, jacket, gloves and any other safety gear that you normally wear. If you are not fully safety geared you will not be able to participate in the ARC. Unfortunately, he will not be able to accommoadate Trikes for this course . If you have any questions please contact Greg @ 240-2032. There will be a charge for this course for all non-members of GWRRA.
